The project is composed by 3 buildings:
One Existing  2 stories Historic Building at front of the property to be preserve.
One Existing  2 stories Building at front of the property to be remodeled with no historic value.
One New 3 stories Building at rear of the property.

The project is totally residential use. (22 units).

The challenge:
To preserve two existing building fronting the property, one with historic value and maximize the occupancy of the property without interfering with the existing historic language of the main building.

The design intent:
Unifying with color and proportion all 3 buildings in the site, the historic language of the main building get preserved and remain the main focal point of the front approach to the property. 

A rear courtyard is serving as the heart of the social interaction of the residences in a private atmosphere away from the busy street.

Has an Historic Board approval, and Permitted for construction.
