2020 Alton Road, The Greenest Home in South Florida

2020 Alton Road, The Greenest Home in South Florida

The following is an excerpt from the Real Estate Blog posting published on July 31, 2012:

"A dream team has embarked on completing the first LEED-certified home in South Florida. Architect Ari Sklar, developer Matt Lahn, contractor Robert Arkin, and interior designer Alfred Karram have transformed 2020 Alton Road into a modern masterpiece that can easily represent the home of the future.

It is 32 ft wide and 32 ft high and has 3,200 square feet with five bedrooms. The home is built with entirely green products and is solar and wind powered. It is estimated to be a net zero home, meaning that it will not need to be on the FPL grid.

The exterior amenities include a pool and spa with an outdoor kitchen and deck. The landscaping is all native species and the pool has nickel and copper filtration."
